What is the difference between high-voltage cables, medium-voltage cables and low-voltage cables?
Power cables are usually divided into weak-voltage cables 450/750V and below, low-voltage cables 0.6/1kV, medium-voltage cables 3-35kV, high-voltage cables 35-110kv and ultra-high-voltage cables 110-750kV according to different voltage levels.
Low-voltage cables can be produced using ordinary polyvinyl chloride and cross-linked polyethylene. Low-voltage cables are divided into cross-linked and ordinary ones, while medium and high-voltage cables do not have such a distinction. They are all cross-linked cables. 6kv-35kv uses three-layer co-extrusion and high-density cross-linked polyethylene production.

1KV low-voltage cable and 6/10kV, 8.7/10kV medium-voltage cable, the former is a voltage level of 1kV, common products are:
VV/YJV PVC/XLPE insulated PVC sheathed power cable: structure: conductor + insulation + filling + wrapping tape + sheath
VV22/YJV22 PVC/XLPE insulated steel belt armored PVC sheathed power cable structure: conductor + insulation + filling + (wrapping tape) + inner lining + steel belt + outer sheath
Medium voltage Y JV-6/10kVYJV-8.7/10kV XLPE insulated PVC sheathed power cable, structure: conductor + inner shield + XLPE + outer shield + copper tape shield + filling + non-woven fabric + sheath
Medium voltage YJV22-6/10kVYJV22-8.7/10kV XLPE insulated steel tape armored PVC sheathed power cable, structure: conductor + inner shield + XLPE + outer shield + copper tape shield + filling + non-woven fabric + inner sheath + steel tape + outer sheath
